The learning room
A little guidance, a little practice. Let your next stitch be the beginning of something lovely.
These short videos are also shared by Woolique Crafts Studio. We have brought the lessons together here with a few practical notes for your own making time.
Two small lessons
Build a rhythm, one stitch at a time.
Settle in with your yarn and hook. Play, pause and replay as often as you need; neither lesson starts automatically.

Single crochet
A close-up demonstration of the single crochet stitch, labelled sc in the video. Watch where the hook enters the stitch and how the yarn is drawn through.
Make a little room to practise. Try a few stitches on a small practice piece before returning to your project. Keep the yarn relaxed enough for the hook to move comfortably.

Double crochet
Follow the yarn-over and pull-through sequence for a taller stitch, labelled dc in the video. Pause between the movements until the rhythm feels familiar.
Make a little room to practise. Watch the loops on the hook as you work. Follow your pattern for where to insert the hook, stitch counts and turning chains.

These clips demonstrate stitches, not a complete kit pattern. Menu tiles visible at the end are part of the recording, not clickable lessons. Use your kit instructions for the full project.
A useful little translation
Same stitch. Different names.
The sc and dc names shown in these videos follow US terminology. Some English-language patterns use UK names instead. Check the stitch key supplied with your pattern before you begin.
